Fortuna Taku begins on the water. Each design starts with a real fish personally harvested through spearfishing, surf, or boat life—and with the place and moment behind that catch.

The Gyotaku Process

Using the traditional Japanese practice of Gyotaku, the fish is inked, pressed, and carefully peeled away. The resulting impression records its true form, from the sweep of a fin to the pattern of its scales.

Art With an Origin

Those direct impressions become wearable and collectible art: stickers, shirts, hats, hoodies, art prints, limited catch editions, and original Gyotaku pieces. No anonymous stock fish. Every release has an origin.

The Next Adventure

Each purchase helps fund more time on the water, more unique catches, and more original prints. Fortuna Taku is a continuing loop of fishing, making, and sharing the story.
